Loft I loved!

I haven't had time to post anything lately due to my very painful back spasm! For a few days, I could not move around, thanks to lovely hubby, he has helped me a lot, take me to the bath room in the middle of the night, dress me up, take me to the doctor and help out with my daily chores! well, here are some pics that I've looked over and over again, and it helped to ease my pain a little bit!

Lofty spaces...

These were a few of my favorites from the Living Etc. website, hope you enjoy them!

rooms of the week

New York Times.....defining gorgeous.

The New York Times always amazes me with their Home & Garden section. For example, this huge residence (once a church) in the city.....wow. Can you imagine what it's like to live there? Do you notice how you can look out the large window while in the shower? Gorgeous, barely describes it.

Chocolate chips pancakes created by My Love,..

My hubby made some awesome chocolate chips pancakes for brunch today, boy,..it was soo good, I put some of my old time favorite blueberry sauce and some fresh peaches from the farmers market.

my summer snack

bruschetta.jpg

Bruschetta is one my favorite simple summer dishes and I love that I can currently find all of the ingredients at the farmers’ market. I’ve mastered a simple recipe that really enhances the sweetness of the tomato, the peppery taste of basil and the fruity aroma of the olive oil. Here are my little added touches for making it just right.

-Use high quality extra virgin olive oil. Trust me, it’s worth the extra money.
-If you can find some, buy a loaf of rustic, Artisan bread (La Brea Bakery’s Country Sourdough is perfect).
-Cut the garlic in half and rub the open end on the freshly toasted bread. The heat from the bread melts the garlic evenly without being overpowering.
-Finish with a touch of premium kosher or sea salt (I swear by Maldon’s flaky crystals).

I'm a sucker for Vintage Jewerly,..

Do You Like Marshmallows?

Top photo from Soffan Cipria

For some reason
these soft fluffy images
remind me of
Marshmallows~

I think because
I love Marshmallows!
Do you?

Above photo from The Paris Apartment

I think Marshmallows
are one of those things....
that you either love them
or
hate them~
Am I Right?

I Love them always~

Especially if they get a little bit stale~

I know someone who only
likes them in
hot chocolate~

I think they are the prettiest candy
I have ever seen!

bottom two photos from Such pretty things

They remind me of colored cotton balls~
&
I believe the pink taste different
than the white ones...do you?
Tell me about
You
&
Marshmallows~

Friday nite dinner

Ohh boy, today the weather was so horrible it was 108 F, and we were not at the pool or the beach, we were actually walking at the park and gallery hopping, but later on we decided to go to our favorite Italian restaurant instead! The restaurant has the greatest food ever, Today we had Griff's oyster's rockefeller, my hubby has Pesto Pasta, and I has Rossemary chicken canteloni, the kids were happy with Peperoni Pizza! For dessert we had Chocolate Molton lava cake,...yumm,...
